Description

What is it?
Sign up to the launch of the new peer education resource! This new topic comes out in March 2018 and will empower girls to challenge the stereotypes they experience in their lives.

You will train as a Peer Educator on this new and exciting topic developed by Girlguiding.

You will also acquire practical tools such as ideas for games and activities and receive information on training topics and how to get the scheme running in your area.

Where?

Morven Guide Centre, The Causeway, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, EN6 5HA

When?
Saturday 24 March 2018, 9.30am - 4.30pm

Who is it for?
For Peer Educators who have already completed Basic Training and delivered at least one session.

Cost?
There is no cost for attending the training. This event is funded by the Region at no cost to participants.
However, if you cancel and your place cannot be filled, you will be charged £20.

The cost of this training is subsidised by grants from Girlguiding and Girlguiding Anglia.
As such, preference for booking will initially be given to members from Girlguiding Anglia.

What to wear:

Please wear guiding wear during the event.

You are responsible for organising your own transport to the event.
